Kesavan Appukuttan Achary (12 June 1925 – 31 January 1997) was a National Award winning Indian painter and sculptor and one of the pioneers of the Indian modernist art movement. Appukuttan had the rare distinction of being one of the few Indian artists with mastery over both sculpting and painting.He is known for. his sculptures in ivory and wood.
