JASU RAWAL

Jasu Rawal is a Bangalore-based contemporary master is reknonwned for his child like  random images of shapes and forms appear in a decluttered spatial arrangement,

Jasu was born in Halvad, Gujarat.Having completed his MFA from M.S University, Baroda, he has participated in more than 50 shows in India and abroad. He has held solo shows in London and at Le Harve, France. He has won awards including the Karnataka Lalit Kala Academi Award four times in the 1960's. Jasu Rawal worked at the Weavers Service Center, Bengaluru for several years.
